Psychosocial Services
Psychosocial health encompasses the mental, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of what it means to be healthy. It is the result of complex interactions between a person’s history and his or her thoughts about and interpretations of the past and what the past means to them. There are Four areas of Psychosocial, namely:
- Mental Health: The Thinking You
- Emotional Health: The Feeling You
- Social Health: Interactions with Others
- Spiritual Health: An Inner Quest for Well-Being
Psychosocial interventions
Psychosocial interventions for mental health and substance use disorders are interpersonal or informational activities, techniques, or strategies that target biological, behavioral, cognitive, emotional, interpersonal, social, or environmental factors with the aim of improving health functioning and well-being.
