AIDS Project Worcester (APW), through funding from State and Federal Governments, provide limited housing supportive services to individuals living with HIV. APW is not a housing facility, nor does it offer immediate solutions to housing difficulties.
Services may include housing search, advocacy, community outreach, one-on-one financial management sessions, and support to access financial assistance towards rent and heating costs. Interested individuals must be referred for services by their medical or social service provider.
Basic eligibility for financial support
- Proof of HIV status
- Proof of Unit Occupancy
- Combined household income is in accordance with HUD Very Low Income Guidelines.
- Reside within the eligible metropolitan statistical area (EMSA) (a list of the service area may be obtained from your provider)
Eligible individuals who wish to apply for financial assistance should speak with their provider, and they do not have to be a client of APW to apply.
