I am a 22 year old nursing student at Quinsigamond.
I never thought that I would be a participant in the Women’s HIV/Sexual Violence Initiative and standing before you.
But, I wanted you to see the face of a women that the Initiative serves.
I could be your daughter, your sister, your friend – I could be you.
We never know what is going to happen in our lives.
In the most difficult time of my life The Women’s Initiative was there for me helping me get the care and education I needed. It continues to be there for me.
In sharing my story, I hope I am giving back in a small way.
